I recently purchased a beautiful 96 gt, great condition, runs like a champion-
except for the fact the coolant light keeps coming on daily, Ive put antifreeze into the radiator/resivor (i can only find one) but she uses it up FAST!
This car DOES NOT overheat or leak anything!!! I am very confused and concerned for my baby- any help is greatly appreciated
More then likely your burning it up and it's likely uour intake manifold. The have a plastic crossover and they crack there. If you do get a new manifold DO NOT get a Dorman, only Ford Racing with the aluminum cross over
Part price on AM is about $200 or so and I did install myself. It's fairly easy don't know about price. If your manifold did crack it can cause coolant to leak into the combustion chamber and burn as well
Probably leaking through the intake. Get a shop manual from a parts store. The intake is simple to swap.
