Whoops, I meant Ford's first Essex 3.8's from 82. I imagine the 92 was single port fuel injected. Either way, the 99+ 3.8 would be miles ahead in terms of performance (from a 3.8 v6 standpoint).
Are you looking to interchange parts? Or swap a newer 3.8 in?
Okay well here's the thing would like to buy a 4.2 v6 and swap it into an an 01 mustang. I have a 92 cougar 3.8 that is wrecked but the motors perfectly fine so wasn't sure if I could take the 3.8 parts needed for the 4.2 from the cougar and that way the 01 mustang can be driven while swapping all those other parts from the 92 3.8 onto the newer 4.2
