If you dont want to read the story, start at the second paragraph.
Ok, well tonight I was picking up my cousin to go to the movies and we were comming up on a small hill thats about a 45 angle and then the top hooks a 180 for the turn. At the turn, there is a huge curbed area that is totally blind while you are comming out of the turn. Well, long story short, I could'nt see the curb at all so I basically went up on it with the front right. Luckily my reflexes are good and I was able to jerk the car off w/o having the siding land on the top of the curb as well.

Well, the front right rim is rashed rly badly around the polished rim, but its totally fine to drive on. Just sucks appearance wise. But the side of the tire has some massive gashes in it. All of the tires are dry rotting and about 5-10% tread left. So I need some recommendations on some decent tires for the stock 04 rims. But I need to stay around the $100 price range, give or take, although less is better. This came at a bad time, as ive been in and out of work with a back injury and money is rly tight.

I have been looking at the bfg g-Force sport which is about 115, but I need something that will be ok in some near freezing temps, i.e. snow. But these are not recommened for it. I think I will be going with the Avon Tech M550 A/S.
They are fairly cheap and have a ton of rave reviews for all weather.

Hey there maximus, have you ever considered Kuhmo Tires? check out Tire Rack.com for some pricing you might find something worth while.

On another note, so your stuck in A-Town huh...I had lived there for about 8yrs in my younger days.

I have checked on tire rack, but just to get a figure on what I will be spending. I can't wait to get the tires shipped, as I can't drive the car because of the giant gauge in the side and me having to drive a minimum of 50 miles a day on the highway. So I am heading to a jack williams tire shop to get a set of something put on right after work.

And yea, you said it perfectly, "stuck in A-Town".

I like my yokahoma avs es100s. They are a good all around tire and wear good and last. Not amazing traction but... thats what you have to give up for life.
