I wouldn't touch the BBK headers. What problems have you heard from Pypes? We have a local vendor and their product is on par with the rest of the competition considering pricing. X pipes allow for a more exotic sound H more deep.

H = more TQ less HP
X = More HP less TQ

O/R = more HP less TQ
Catted = more TQ less HP

Yeah, if you're looking for a really deep sounding exhaust, I'd say a Flowmaster Super 40 w/ an o/r h-pipe will probably be your best bet. Be sure to include a CAI if not already. :)
Search on youtube for some video clips of what kinds of setups you like though. I know it's not the same listening to a video, but at least it gives you a good idea. :good:
Good luck!

You said you want DEEP DRONE and RUMBLE? Then why go with the SLP LM2?

I have the BBK shorties, high flow cats with x(not sure what brand) and SLP LM1's. I love it. It's loud and crackles when in high rpms and you let off the gas. Fairly quiet at idle which is nice.

Here's my setup:
BBK CAI $190
BBK Ceramic Shorty Header's $410
Pacesetter Off-Road H-Pipe $165
FlowMaster American Thunder Catback $420

I had my roommate drive down the road the other day in it, and it's the best sounding Mustang I've ever heard(not to be cocky). I would take a short video but it has a painful exhaust leak that I'm too lazy to fix.

Also, those prices are the current prices, not what I paid for them(probably due to inflation?), but they are links to the exact same parts that I bought six months ago.

If you're looking for a bar hopper, flowmasters IMO sound the best. Lots of drone if it a daily driver - especially on highways. I do drive daily, and a lot of w/e's I'm travelling with her, so I went more modest - Borla Touring axlebacks. Normal driving, muted rumbling. Get on it and she sounds sweet. It's all really up to you as your tastes will differ from the next guy's. If you're in an area where's there's other Mustang owners, go ask questions and listen to their setups.
