Took the 95 around the city. Well needless to say it caught fire under the hood. Don't know how it started yet, pretty livid looks bad. Pics n details to come. I'm waiting for the tow truck to arrive with it.
Just looked at it. My headers seemed to ignite the break fluid case causing a spark. Gunna need a new hood. Wind shield. Paint of course. Re wire most of it and replace a lot of plastic. But my father a mechanic who helped me build the car says the engine n blower are fine. It didn't burn to long so just a major pain. He figured 4000 in damage if I do all the work witch I will.
Frustrated with this car. It's a money pit I will be at a total of 35000 dollars into this car after I'm done this "rebuild". Gunna go punch the car a few times I'll brb
Damn...that's terrible. At least it didn't destroy the whole car, and you have your dad helping you figure everything out. As spector said, maybe it doesn't turn out to be as bad as it looks.
So sorry to hear about the car, but glad you're ok!!
