Today i went to track with the mustang club. Bunch 5.0's/foxbodies/Shelby's. Any way no cool down at all ran a 11.2@127. Cooled down about 45 minutes and ran a 11.1@127. Cooled down next about 3 hours while we waited for them to do Test and Tune cars. Got a new best of 10.91@129. Happy to have a real 10 sec pass and not one that is questionable. From track crap being off. I have some video's being uploaded and will get them up. Guy in his tuned big/skinnies 2012 GT500 could only manage 12.5, another buddy in his tuned, cold air, DR's 2012 manual ran 12.7@117.
So the stock pistons and rods hold up and are reliable with 10lbs? How much boost do you have to pull to require forged pistons and H beam rods in these engines?
Amazing run man and she sounds incredible...great job
