Well ask me yesterday morning what I thought about mustangs and I would say wouldn't own one. Went to the dealership to help a co-worker out and ended up walking out with a rs2 2012. Now I have the fever. I only have 30miles on it now but are they any suggestion on performance upgrades that won't mess with the warranty? A few friends where telling me that the 5.0 is not performing at it's full potential do to EPA and other regulations and I would need to get my ecu remapped? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thats a sexy car! Haha and yes you can get your car tuned and it will maximize your cars motor on my little V6 i got 10hp and 10trq so not so bad. For your car expect a lot more
Thanks I will look into fist thing in the morning. Would I need to by a tuner or can they redo it on the car? Lol I was a life long truck owner so besides four wheeling this is all new to me but damn glad I made the change.
Usually cold air intake, exhaust, (you might as well just get axle back exhaust unless you just want to say I got a cat back exhaust. It's cheaper.), tune, lighter wheels, other tires and that's about it. I would suggest breaking in the motor. Not to much you can do. You might be able to take it to the dealer and asking them to convert it to stage 3.

Thanks. The rs2 came with the roush cat back exhaust and the 20" Cooper rs3 tires. I asked about the tuner and they said it would void the warranty . They did say about the only thing I could do is the roush supercharger rs3 upgrade but would run around 10k installed. Just don't have that kinda of cashing laying around lol. Oh ya and it has the roush cold air intake already. Just hit 125 miles today man I have the itch. I'm not going to hit the track till 3k atleast but was wondering what these cars can do in the 1/4? Oh ya had a co-worker asked me why I didn't get the gt500. I the the roush looks so much better stupid but hell looks+performance+good gas milage=happy.

Oh really . Everyone I talk to tells me something different but seems like most say after the first oil change. 500 is the first I heard and I like but is that really enough?
First oil change is at 10000 or at least that was what the guys told me when I bought a new 2011 ford explorer.
