So today after a short drive I noticed I was leaking coolant took the car back home and found out it was leaking from under the intake manifold under the thermostat housing.
I have a few questions
I'm checking to see if anyone else has had this problem?
And how long it took to replace the intake manifold?
And would you recommend getting a metal upgraded one or?
And anyone who has upgraded to a different intake manifold what kind did you get and any increase in power or throttle response?
Yep common problem......if you have the money upgrade to a better performance one, if not check out eBay they are way cheaper. It's an easy job just follow the maintenance manual and it should only take you about 3 hours max.

Just did this install yesterday actually for the same problem. Yeah the install is real easy and pretty straight forward, if you have any questions you can ask me if you want
Thanks a bunch guys the thing is it looks like I already have the aluminum thermostat house let me attatch a picture of it! But I should have the money for a upgraded one but is it worth it and what ones would you guys suggest?

I went switched over to the plastic one with the aluminum crossmember and it pooped on me too, so then I upgraded to the professional products all aluminum one
It's not that bad just put all bolts in zip lock bags and label what parts they come from and I put the sizes that try are and putting back together took 10 mins, just remember that every plug and sensor can only plug into the plug or sensor it came from so that's a relief

The install is gonna be a breeze and it's gonna look great. I'm a bit worried about my install because I'm having to cut into my wiring harness and modify it for a new engine I'm dropping in. Gonna be interesting! Haha

Love the new color and for sure will! Ordering the new intake tomorrow then installing when it comes in!
The main problem was just the seal under the thermostat blew out and broke the plastic

The heater core line on the manifold broke on me coming around a corner and kicked the back end out, all the new plastic manifolds are redesigned because of this issue.
