Anybody know what's the quickest way to take off plasti dip , i want to redo them bc I won't peel off in one piece
Peel it off, just scratch it and break a hole through it and peel it doesn't get any easier >.<

I do have a question tho.. If you plasti dip, then say put pink spray paint on top, you can still peel it off like normal right? So it can kinda be used as like a primer or something?

paint over plastidip is a bit harder to get off...but it will come off. just make sure the dip is layered nicely to make a barrier between the bottom layer of paint and the new top coat. a guy on MM did this to some wheels to get a colored wheel lip

The reason why mine doesn't peel of in one piece is bc I didn't spray the plasti dip correctly. Instead of doing 2 to 3 coats I only did one heavy coat bc I did it a thursday night and I had to go to work the next morning. So the other day when I was trying to peel it off only small pieces would tear off mainly bc ive been spraying over and over the spots I missed that one night.thats I was asking what kind of spray I could use to peel it off easier.

I done this on my four wheeler.. I don't say 3-4 coats of plasti dip. And the gloss black spray paint. It made if fuzzy looking it did combine good but that's how it went for me

Did my pony badge and faux gas cap...

Didn't have a covered space, taped off really well, sprayed the first coat... niiiice.

Second, all good.

Between second and third, ****ing rain. Had myself prepped though, put my rain covers up and waited...

... and waited....

What did I find? That the increased moisture in the air completely ruined the finish. So, rather then going for another coat, I let that dry, stripped it and walked away in disgust.

Gonna give it another shot, when I have the time, and make sure the weather is going to hold or that I'm in a friends covered garage.

Mother nature won that round.

But I'm still driving a 4.0.
