The last eta I received for my mustang was 02/23, so I happened to be driving by the ford dealership today, and thought I would drive through just in case my new car happened to be sitting there. Dealership's aren't open in Indiana on Sunday's so I knew if it had been delivered I wouldn't have got a call.
So I drove through the whole lot and just as I turn the corner my headlight catches a shiny blue object up against the fence, slightly hidden by an F150
Congrats! I remember when mine just rolled off the truck, covered in protective stickers, completely filthy just like yours and I thought I had never seen a better looking car. I still love driving her just as much as the first time I got behind the wheel.
Lol, you and I are on the same page man! There is no way i would have settled for an auto, i enjoy shifting gears! That's my main excuse to not mod the engine as well. Although I'm sure I will at some point
I don't know how it is where you are but in Indiana you only pay taxes on the difference of your trade, so I bought my car for $27k and traded my truck at $14k so I only paid sales tax on $13k. So you can kind of look at it like they're giving you an extra $1000, even though it doesn't appear that way, so you may be better off to just trade it in rather than wasting the effort for another $1000 and have to pay more in sales tax!
I just got this a few months ago so I still owe $10.3k, so I'd just be bringing over $1700 from the trade-in towards the mustang. If I sell it I can bring 2700 or so. Kinda sucks, hopefully I can get rid of it privately in time.

+100 I hate driving autos now that I've driven my manual stang for about a year now. Just something about having total control of the vehicle, feels awesome.
If window tinting counts I have an appoint this Saturday to get that done, other than that I'm not sure. I will probably buy winter tires too, but here lately in Indiana it hasn't been too bad!
A CIA, tune, and exhaust are definitely on my radar, it's going to be a while for me though, I have a 71 duster I need to finish restoring this spring and its taking all my money
Thanks I appreciate it, I have found out people either love or hate grabber blue! I have 60 miles on mine, but give a couple weeks and I will catch up to you
Love the grabber blue. Congrats man. So i'll admit that I have no idea how to tell the different between an auto and a stick. What is different about the exhaust tips?
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I don't know the difference between the tips, but I have heard several people say they are different. There's an auto at my dealership I should just drive by and check it out.
On a side note, a V6 camaro was revving up on me at a stop light, he got to see how cool my tail lights are!
