Hey guys, I have been thinking of trading my car in because of lack of power. Which of this you think is the best choice.
Which if theese can I get more hp out if bolts on? Prons and cons
My Cobra ran 12.90s 1.99 60ft 109mph. 4.10s 285-35-18 nittos. d-spec shocks and springs. The big thing is the IRS. With the stock tires/suspension and 3.27 gears it was horrible off the line. If you tried to launch it had horrible wheel hop and if you rolled it out it lugged 2.20 60ft. Brace the IRS (front and rear mounts) install 4.10 and big tires and bam. Plus I love the IRS on the street, Honestly I feel like my Cobra can out handle any Mustang.
I'd like to get a few 12 time slips also but at 5400 (actually the track might be higher than that...) I'm thinking it's gonna need a power adder first. Intake tune exhaust 275 rubber and suspension set up for auto x won't get me there in my mach. Meh id rather carve corners anyways.
Ok so if I dicided to stay with my 04 gt and just putting all bolts on as possible (except supercharger, turbo, nitros ext.) What hp and 1/4 times could I expect?
Lighter hood, no rear seats, light sparco racing seats, coilovers all around, rear arms, intake and tb, 305 Hoosier dr, 4.10 gears, bassani x pipe and borla catback n no spare or jack.

See that's my issue with my car, I think I have too spend to mch money too just **** low 13's. When I can just buy a mach1 that hits 13 flat stock. I love my car but I get a bit frustrated on how slow it is. Theirs is sedans that now that are faster than me lol.
Well I didn't spend too much on mine. Only about 6500 including the car and parts. But yea takes a bit of money to just get into the 13's with the 2v. I know lol I got beat by a Lexus one time on my 2v it was preety disappointing
I think alot of times is just the door that opens to you. I was looking around at Mach 1s and thinking about doing a build on my 99 and then I found my 01 for sale for a great deal. The second I saw it I knew it was mine. So, If you get a deal on engine parts go that way, if you get a a deal on a Mach 1 take that.
+1 on the deal at the time. I got mach 1 for 8k$ with a fresh engine build. Also sold my 96gt for 7k the next week. I loved that car but this mach 1 is so much more car.
That's similar to my mach. Guy needed cash or his kid was getting kicked out of school. Handed him a cashiers cheque as soon as I got the history report.
I just installed my corbeau lg1 seats a couple weeks ago. Pricey but totally worth it. The ride is better, seat feels way more solid and you can push the car so much harder.
Brackets are extra but come with sliders. The brackets are 210 for new edges for both sides. The seats are 760 for normal or 930? For fat guy ones haha. I got the wides.
Yeah. And the wides have a little deeper side support. And you never want to have uncomfortable seats. Even my skinny friends like them so yeah I would pop for the wides regardless.
