On my 2002, I have stock 16inch by I think 7 rims but not sure. I have bought some 17x8 rims with a 1 inch offset and I need to know what size tires to buy. I know the tires would have to be smaller but idk what size. I also know there's a formula for this but I couldn't find it. So what size tire would I need to fit a 17x8 with a 1 inch offset rim on a stock 2002 mustang?
If I'm not mistaken, as long as the lead number of the tire size is the same as what you currently have, you'll be fine for size. For example, my GT had 235/55 ZR17 from the factory. I just upgraded to 18" factory Alloy wheels, with factory 235/50ZR18's. The tires are the same diameter. You can do the same.

Oh yes. I got the tires he recommended and they look badass. Can I say ass on here? I have to clean the tires but they look nice. It costed 525$ including alignment and rotation.
Haha hey its all personal preference. Do what you want to do, don't listen to anyone else. Unless you're trying to put 24" spinner rims and fake chrome vents on. Never do that. Ever. Lol

Right now I'm using the clay bar. That takes dedication man! Haha I'm tired as hell! But it feels smoother I guess. Do I just put the wax on as soon as I'm done?
Lol just be careful with the vents. I've heard of guys putting them on, then not anticipating the added horsepower and crashing the car.
Mines lowered too (cut stock springs), and my midpipe definitely scrapes on speed bumps, but I also have longtubes. And yes you should wax right after.
Well the cheap way is to cut your stock springs. Check online and research it of your interested. But most just buy aftermarket springs and install those. And you can do it in your driveway, as long as you have tools. Common auto tools that is, you don't really need anything special. Just some time and patience.
