Hi, I just joined today, but I have been visiting the site recently. I am in the process of acquiring a 2013 Red Candy Metallic GT Premium with Recaro seats, electronic package, shaker pro sound system, and reverse sensing and security package. It will be around 36,270. It only has 300 miles on it. The deal is 95% done, I will probably take delivery on the car Friday.

Dude, Quit trying to throw your military experience around on here and acting like a badass. I'm a 25 yr old marine combat veteran as provisional infantry in afghanistan as part of a major offensive to take the city of marja, and I've seen some crazy ****, but you don't even hear me talk about it. It's not relevant so quit trying to play the military card and stop acting like everyone owes you something. Chill out and grow up.

Trolling is against forum policy.

Well same difference, he can say he's saved up for it since the 4th grade but even if his parents have him 1000 dollars every birthday since he was born I still dont see how he "earned" that money.. but hey when my son is 16 and if I have the funds I might buy him a new car.. just not a 30k+ car lol so have fun dude you have awesome parents.

Finances are going to be close, it's starting to look like I'm going to end up with the V6 MCA edition with performance package. My parents don't want to finance over 20K,and it's looking like it's going to be either 19k or 23k,if it's 21k I can probably still get it. We will be leaving the house to pick up my dad from the airport around 3(40 min drive) and should be back around 7. With either the Red candy GT Premium,or the Ruby Red V6 MCA edition.

All depends on how you raise them. Agree, some can handle it, some can not. If you raise them to be respectful, honest, and hard working, even at 16yrs old they can be more responsible with a 400hp car than a 20+ yr old without the same values.

We will most likely be getting the GT I want, we should have to finance 21k at most. 1k over what my dad wants to spend, but in a 60 month payment plan, that's almost nothing. I should be able to get the GT

I bought a v6 premium and loved it. Until a 5.0 pulled up. Regardless I understand the finance aspect of it. But if you get the v6 prepare to trade off in a year or so. That's what I did, I had mine for 13 months and traded it in. It's just the nature of the beast. It's better to get something to grow into. Not something that fits now and you'll outgrow later. Just my .02

Buy a used gt if you have to, you'll be tired of the v6 in no time and wish you had that 18k back.
Idk why everyone says this. I've had my 3.7 for 2+ years and I'm not even near "tired" with it. My good buddy has a 14 5.0 and we go cruising all the time and I still love my sixxer. 305 HP is plenty for the average Joe, and especially for a young teenager's first sports car...

I agree, but a 420HP Muscle(The mustang is far from a sports car) car,for a RESPONSIBLE driver is good, as I've stated,I'm fine with either car,the V6 is no slouch anymore. Now if I wasn't a responsible driver, the only Stang I'd be getting would have been a used V6.
