value of stang v6 with cobra extras?

Hi!
Need your help on a 2000 v6 and what it's worth it.
Seller wants $5.300 for it.

Mileage is 80.500 miles

Things done by the owner:
- cobra sport suspension
- cobra brake system
- cobra rims
- cobra tail lights
- gimbal & rear suspension from a GT 8.8" rear end
- dual exhaust

Are the cobra lights really that rare and are the ones pictured real ones? I can't make them out as I'm totally new to that!

i wouldnt pay that much for a v6 but that is one clean sixxer. and it had alot of good upgrades done to it. and Yes those are real 99-01 cobra tail lights. they only came on the 99-01 cobra models and that was it. try getting him lower though first cuz its just a sixxer.

$5300 sounds like a good deal! Offer 4500 and see if you can steal it for 5. The taillights are legit the suspension I'm a bit iffy on. It looks too high. If all of that is true it's a steal.

My sixxers worth $5 easy. And it has 117k on the odometer. I guess it just depends where you live.

What I wanna know is what's a Cobra sport suspension? If it's got Cobra springs then what year Cobra? The 99-04 Cobras all came with IRS and you can't install those springs on a SRA car.

Where I live, just a regular v6 with no miss that's clean is 5k with 110k+ miles. So for me, yeah that's an awesome deal. And everything looks legit

no way it's a cobra suspension...looking at it's ride height i'll say stock springs or perhaps stock mid 90's cobra springs (could be what the owner means by cobra suspension). if that's the case i'd change those to either v6 or GT lowering springs asap because i can't imagine it feels all to safe riding so high.

now as for price...depends on location...what runs $3k on one side of the country may cost $7k on the other

I think the driver can be checked off..not so much the car with double the power and a decent suspension to start with.
The driver is a good driver lol...look I'm knocking v8s I had one remember. However slinging them around corners is nowhere near as fun as slinging a 3.8/3.9 around :). And BTW you answered why he is at a disadvantage. His power on twisties means little to nothing except for the chance of spinning out so you are forced to take it slower. Why do you think one of the best mountain road cars ever had a whopping 80 HP from factory. Gotta love an ae86 lol. And wow I really got off the main topic with that rant ^_^

Thanks a bunch for your posts and opinions!
I'm not saying I'm gonna buy the car, just want to be well informed if or when I meet up with the seller. There's no need to get ripped off in any way!
Also looking around for a trans am or regular firebird 3800 series, I know you guys gonna hate me for that but from what I've heard their sixxers are a bit better than the ones from mustang.

I think that's a good looking car. But I was wondering what the guy meant by "cobra suspension" too. I think this is a good enough time as ever to decide v6 or v8 lol. Mine has the 4.6. N the sixxers are 4.0 right? Mpg can't be that big of a difference. Get a gt that will have already most of the stuff listed and buy your own cobra tail lights lol. Btw I paid 5k for my gt Los Angeles area

94-04 are 3.8/3.9, 05-10 are 4.0, 11-up are 3.7 correct me if I'm wrong.
