if you are looking for maximum strength out of your gear get richmond. but if you are using them for a DD car get ford racing gears which are much quieter.
www.gefracing.com has great prices and they are VERY good and VERY quck.
if you have a manual you wotn need a chip you can get a speedcal from dallasmustangs.com and they install VERY easy they can be set for any gear ratio from 2.08 ( i think ) to 6.33 and can also be spec'ed for odd size tire combos.
GEFRacing is OK but their return policies are terrible. We had a member who got gears from them and they were bad. the shop was a rear end specialty shop and they never could get them right, so he went to send them back and they would only give him a 10% discount on purchasing another set. When I jumped in and called GEF I was told because they were installed they would not take them back.
Wow, those are cheap on gefracing.com, on this other site i was lookin at they were going for $169. i'll get them from the gefracing, thanks for the site spectorV.
i ordered my gears for my last stang from jegs, and they included the install kit( new bearings etc.) I would get FMS (ford motorsport) gears , they will be fine
I am going to agree with Steve on this one. They are a Sponsor and they have a decent price. They might work a little on getting the 3.73 gears down a little in price they want $40.00 more for the 3.73 7.5 than the 3.73 8.8. Dont quite understand that.
