okay so in a couple weeks iam about to drive 4000 kms across Canada back to Toronto... and I was thinking of filling up with regular gas rather then premium threw out my trip... save a bit of money.... would like to know if my mpg will suffer or will my car suffer from this... or should I stick with mid grade/premium

Ironically, believe it or not, you may actually see a slight increase in mpg by using 87 octane. There is more energy in a gallon of 87 octane gasoline than there is in a gallon of 91 octane fuel. The 87 octane doesn't have all of the additives to slow down the rate of burn.
I say do it!
Especially on a long, steady speed trip. :thumb:

spry I meant regular is 87 mid is 89 and premium is 91 ... I always get 89 or higher... and would like to know if 87 would affect my cars performance or hurt mpgs

100 gallons of gas is 378.541 liters... our tanks are I think 16gallons or 60 liters so like 6.5 tanks... at around 60 a tank so no more then like 400 dollars... not bad
