I'm thinking about doing the vmp supercharger kit on my Gt. But on these new 5.0 s do I have to do any internal motor parts along with it or can I slap on on and have some fun. I'm not looking to run the highest boost but I just want some more fun out of her.

I got one as well and they offer a stage 3 for automatics

Automatics are not what they where use to be specially with that sports mode

The reason I ask is that I'm a service forman for international trucks. I look at the repairs in the hours it takes to do the job. and my job I work a lot with a local ford dealer that is a roush dealer so I would have them do the install so I don't have to.

Putting a blower on is actually surprisingly easy. Anyone with a reasonable aptitude and basic hand tools, with a little time, can do this. I think 1800 is a little rich, considering no front mount pipe fiddling. I guarantee I could get this done in a full day, if I wasn't interrupted. I'm no Roush dealer but it would not be my first time either so, I'm pretty representative of your average shadetree.

FYI I called roush about getting stage 3 setup on my 14 Gt auto and their response was they don't make stage 3 for autos not because engine can't handle the 675 horse but the automatic trans can't. But they recommend the stage 2 at 625 horses for the automatic transmission cars
