Got my ghost cam tune today it sounds like heaven but there is no power at all. It's SLOW. No low end power at all. Any idea what the prob is

Huh, I don't have that much knowledge with them but I do know that ghost tunes have issues like this. Only person to ever figure it out was Lund but Ford shut that down. Lol

Try calling the source like MPT themselves. I am sure you could datalog for them and they will be sure to figure it out.

Just an update. They told me to datalog and I understand that but then they say I have too wait 3 business days once again. Like really. How about they look at it as I've already received the tune, it was wrong and they need to fix it. This is wrong IMO esp since I've bought around 5-6 tunes from them. They are starting to make me to want to pull my hair out.

Did you politly mention this to them? If the current tune tech (or whatever they call themselves) is not handling your case the way you feel it should be, then ask to speak with the head tech/supervisor.

I agree with you on this one...if the current tune is indeed at fault, then the $75.00 you paid and waited for should be working, and they should resolve it for you. Waiting 3 days for another tune is only when you order a new one (and don't pay the additional "rush" fee; this should not be applying to you).

I do not understand why you do not speak with MPT themselves and call to speak with a human and explain to them the situation. I am pretty sure they will be more than accommodating.

Not too much we as forum members can do from here.

So, what is the purpose of this ghost cam crap? My dumb old ass can't comprehend this technology.
It's the equivalent of pulling the choke out about half way like we did in the old days when we couldn't afford a cam job. The difference in our day however was the added black smoke which gave us away. It did somewhat sound like a radical cam. :whistling:

you want the performance tunes from MPT not the ghost cam tune as its purely for making your car sound like it has aftermarket cams. The MPT tune is hands down better then a Bama tune. I used to have a bama tune and MPT has more low end power and slightly better top end power. Racing from a roll is also 3x better then with the bama tune. The only downside i would say and its a small one is that your shift points are now at 2000 rpm with an automatic with MPT i just had them lower it down to 1800 to increase my mpg around town by 1.5.
