Ok you said they didn't have any. They have hoods, them not having the one you want is a completely different ballgame. Also, you'd have to describe what you are looking for if you want any actual suggestions.
Cowls can be deceiving from different angles. I saw a Cowl in person on a Cobra and loved it but didn't find out what it was for a while. It was the Carbon Fiber one I mentioned.
Well it's going to look different on your car than a S197. But that looks like a 2-2.5 inch cowl. Looks very close to Venemouz831's old cowl. That was the Cobra R one I believe.
Hey! We have a few online here and I would recommend the '95 Cobra R Style as it's going to have a 3" Cowl which is more than enough to get you noticed! If you're seeing one elsewhere that you think we should carry like the one posted above let me know and I'll have your feedback and comments forwarded to our development team!
HO Fibertrends is a really good hood manufacturer. They were the company Ford contracted to do the original "OEM" 95R hoods. Besides HOF, Cervinis, BossInc, Kaenen and Harwood are other good ones. Stay away from no-name ebay hoods, stay away from ABC Exclusive and STAY AWAY from Cincinnati Composites/Cobra Auto Designs/Champion.
To those getting the CF hoods, please paint them to match... The reason the unpainted thing started is twofold. 1 - Ricers thought they looked cool back in the FATF craze days. 2 - Said ricers usually bought the cheapest one they could find and then had 0 money to paint them. The point of the CF hood is weight savings, they are supposed to be painted like any other hood.
But to each their own.
