I have the solid piece for my 3rd brake light (along with all of the other vinyl blackout kits for the side indicators, tail lights, etc). On a black car, blacked out indicators are rather wicked!
Helps if you have a heat gun - you can warm them up a bit and stretch the vinyl to make sure there isnt any light coming thru around the edges. Use an exacto knife to trim the excess.
I do not recommend following the included instructions - all I ever got with the water method was a bunch of bubbles and a ruined kit. Clean & dry the surface, hit the vinyl with the heatgun to get it warm, and have a steady hand with applying it. Use the supplied squeegie to work the bubbles out if there are any (keep the vinyl warm via heatgun passes).
Very nice looking, Trevor. Love your GT! I have quite a few pics of it on my phone and have used it for inspiration in planning mods for my '14 GT.
