My past 4 weeks

So about 4 weeks ago, I wrecked my baby. I was accelerating off of a stop sign on a wet road with a nice, fresh sheet of loose gravel covering most of the road. My car started to slide out to the right, so I tried to correct it and ended up sliding into a ditch and fliping onto my driver side. Luckily I escaped with no scratches and only a slight bruise on my head (which occured while I was trying to get out of the car lol.)
However, I cannot say the same for the car, my pride and joy. My rear driver side wheel completely snapped off, taking part of the axel with it, and messing up pretty much the entire rear differential. When the wheel snapped off, it did quite a number on the rear quarter panel. The driver side door got twisted, and was not salvageable, and the driver fender was badly smashed. Also, when the tow driver was unloading the car, the tailpipe dug into the ground and twisted itself almost into the trunk of the car.
For the past 4 weeks we have been racing to repair the car as I am leaving for college today! In all, it took $425 for all of the replacememt parts needed, the rest was just days worth of agonizing body work (ill include pictures of the transformation.) I couldnt afford a really nice paint job, so we took it to our local maaco and spent another $500 on paint (my dad and I did nearly all of the body work outside of sanding and painting to keep the cost down.) I was actually very pleased with how the paint turned out for the low cost of it. Its been a rough few weeks, but it is finally done! Thanks for reading, and I hope its alright if I upload this in this section lol.

Impressive.. The training must have been intense to get your pony to do that trick. Glad you didn't lose your car for good though! Sorry to burst your bubble, but be ready for a new paint job within 1-3 years. Maaco is terrible :( good prices though!

Yes I edit my posts a lot, auto correct likes to sabotage me!
