What is this button/LED light?

New to me, used 2014 GT with 12k miles. There's a very small aftermarket button with a blue led light on drivers side ,inside near the hood release. Salesman had no idea and isn't contacting previous owner to find out!?
It is a momentary style push button with a symbol that's hard to see. It blinks blue while driving and stays on steady withy the door open.
Salesman thought it was maybe a gps tracker or immobilized? I haven't pushed it, well actually I did when the cars battery's was completely dead inside the showroom but I'm afraid to push it now if it's a bad thingy.
Any ideas what this is?
It's on a 2014 GT manual with tech package, sync and power drivers seat. No other mods that I know of. Doesn't feel tuned, no CAI etc.
Remote starter? Anti theft? I didn't get any extra key fobs, just the standard 2 that come with the car with the buttons on them for lock, unlock, trunk and panic.

It blinks freakin really bright while I'm driving which is annoying. I can see it down and to the left. Damn i wanna push the button but don't want to have the car killed then. The dealer was a non Ford dealer 2.5 hours away, so that's no help. I'm gonna go check it now to make sure it's not blinking with the car off and locked.
I can't find images of this doohickey online when I search car gps or car alarm etc.

That's what the salesman thought. Getting some elctrical tape until I figure this out to cover it. Just checked..it just blinks, very slowly all the time, even car off and locked, car unlocked and door open, car driving etc.
I'm hoping someone else has whatever this is and can tell me. Otherwise im pushing the button FTW!

Either an aftermarket car alarm or if it was with a different dealer in between it could be a tracker for one of those "buy here - pay here" lots. My bet is that it is an aftermarket alarm.

What do your keys look like? Any extra buttons or an extra fob?

I think it is for the nitrous.

Could be for

Fog or driving lights, Could also have had Halo's that were removed.
Maybe the previous owner installed them and this was the switch that was used.
Just guessing ?????
Ronnie

PS: Have someone stand in front of your car to see if anything changes when you push the button.

that's what I saw and originally thought of satellite tracking but why would it have a switch. I'm gonna stick with aftermarket alarm. The standard mounting is in the drivers side front kick panel next to your left foot.

Internet Explorer already knows what you look at on line now they know where you go.

Look for this

If the factory fog lights in the grill were replaced by some driving lights, They will only come on with the high beams and only if the switch is turned on. They won't come on any other time,Ronnie
