I've been running the BAMA V1 93 race tune as my daily now for quite a bit, made the call when I heard the v2 was out and figured I'd give it a shot...
Drivability in Houston traffic this morning with the a6 was MUCH better, shift mappings are on point and gone is the dreaded "shift into too low of a gear" issues.
It feels significantly better in terms of smooth powerband all the way to redline, no more touchy throttle like it used to be.
Looking to get some good datalogs this weekend! I'm not a track guy (would probably get laughed off the starting line) but I really enjoy entrance ramp romps, etc. The romps this morning were much better than before
Please let me know if there is any data I can provide. Not looking for (you should go with x or y tuner) but good discussion.
I've had my v2 tunes since January and the performance tune is really nice. I've shift points are good and throttle response is way better. I still haven't loaded the 93 race tune yet but if it's any better than the performance then I should be happy. I'm goin to the track this weekend for the first time since getting the new tunes so should have some results.

Hey guys - Thanks for taking the time to post up your thoughts on the V2's. I'm really happy to hear that you're enjoying them as much as I do! I can't stress it enough that the driveability is hands down one of the best aspects of the V2 (especially in traffic!) OP I would definitely recommend getting a datalog set up as well. Once you're ready to do so simply shoot the Bama Team a call and they can walk you through what's going to be needed and then they'll have some info shot over via email to get you up and running.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help out with in the meantime and enjoy guys!!
No comment! I'm hoping that if you're stretching her legs that it's going to be on a closed course...and not I95! Happy to hear that your V2 Tunes are cutting down the commute time and at least making it a lot more entertaining!!!
Now that's just downright incredible! It's always been said in a few different places that a tune can improve your fuel consumption but at the end of the day the Tuner and Device is a Performance Part! I'm really happy to hear that it helped though!
Let me know if there's anything else I can help out with in the meantime or if you're to have any other questions!
What part of houston? I live in Tomball but work near Bush airport. Would love to experience a tuned 5.0 sometime. I'm still too scared to do mine(warranty).
christianh - Awesome! You're going to love what the X4 and V2's can do for you! I look forward to hearing your feedback on them in time as well! Let me know if you're to have any other questions at all and I'm here to help.
I got my Bama tunes a couple weeks before the V2 tunes came out, would you recommend updating to the V2 tunes( are they that much better,I love my tunes so far)?
That's what I like to hear!!! Thanks for the kind comments and feedback as well - I haven't seen you around here much and with a name like Wayne'sWorld I thought I would've! Don't hesitate to let me know if there's ever anything I can help out with I'm always around!
Rizzle - We've been around long enough that we would never need to have a phantom account created to spread publicity like this  I just thought it was funny that "Wanyes World" happened to have that name and given my sense of humor I ran with it. At the end of the day regarding the Bama X4 Tuner and V2 Tunes 100% of the feedback can be summarized in this gif below:
I'm not done yet Alex, I do have one complaint about A.M.-seems like every time I make a purchase, the next week you guys give away something(T-shirts, banners etc.)for purchases over 100.00. I think that my timing sucks, but "hook a guy up", still luvin my tunes and A.M. for all the helpful folks there.
Wayne - Well that's what I'm hear for and I apologize about that! I swear that they're not coincidental but shoot me a PM so we can talk about this further and I'm sure I can get you set up with some AM gear!

Alex after hearing about the V2 tune I called Bama guys and the person that I talked to said that there was not much of a difference so do I "upgrade" or keep what I have?
I'm interested to here the answer to this.
I'm not exactly sure what the v2 is, I have the sct with a bama tune on my 12 GT. Is the v2 a tuner or the tune?
It is the tune. To the best of my knowledge it is a new "version". I thought it was to squeeze a bit more performance and or throttle response but the rep that I spoke with was not making me think this. It was more like you can get a V2 but it wont do much for you.
The v2 tune is pretty much just a smoother tune all around. You Will notice the difference between the two unless you did a lot of logging and revisions I would assume

Only thing I noticed is my cylinder head temp has gone up minimally (per track apps) used to run about 208ish degrees, now stays at 214, I've always wondered if there was a danger limit on that
