I just put some I purchased on Amazon on my 2000 Excursion. They perform well and look pretty cool. However, I do not have HIDs on the Ex, just Silverstars, so there is a significant difference between color temps, but that's just a small annoyance vs. significant problem. I think they would look good on a 10-12 model.
I had to install load resistors and if you don't then your taillights won't be sequential either. I just went through this a couple days ago good luck ??
I got mine from hidguy(people are going to go off on this one lol). But I actually like them a lot. You just have to work a little to make them function right but you'll get it right ??. Just to let you know these are not legal in every state ?

I really really want to order some stuff from HIDguy, but am avoiding it based off of a lot of people saying they never got their stuff :-( unfortunate because id love some new headlamps with colored halos.
How difficult was it to install the halos? I see hidguy sells them already installed but I've seen some horror stories dealing with them. I'd be worried about doing the install myself without messing them up.
it's fairly easy, put the lights in the oven at 215 for 15-20 minutes.. pull the housing apart, epoxy or tape halos in.. put back in oven to heat up the butyl after its heated take them out and put the lense back on and clamp with vice grips till dry..
