Of course I can't catch a break just got a remanufactured transmission put in my car 3 months ago max, as I was driving home last night I went to shift into 3rd at 2200-2500 rpms and it made a horrible grinding noise and it's been doing it ever since. Luckily I have a 10,000 mile warranty on it and the shop is going to either have the company send a new transmission again or have them send the money it will take to fix it. Just gets a little discouraging dealing with problem after problem, makes me consider selling it. Sorry just needed to get my frustration out. Rant over
Place called smartpartsauto , they back there transmissions up for 10,000 mile 1 year warranty so doesn't seem to bad just annoying, barely put 3 k miles on it if that, and it already messed up
I would love to but I'm already 1500 deep with this one it's under warranty so we'll see what the next one does. Tempted to sell the car but I love her so idk yet
Give the second one a chance. If it fails then I'd consider a t56 swap or possibly selling it. The latter would be a last resort.
Pick your poison.
