How hard is it to swap a termi engine and trans into a GT?

Buddy of mine is selling his termi engine and trans for 5k and its low miles he's cutting me a major deal on it..

04 GT: CAI, 3.73, Longtubes, Full exhaust, Comp Cams 270's, Short throw, Pullies, BBK 73mm TB, MSD coils, 47lb injectors, MPT tuned, Steeda lowering springs, Front strut bar, MM caster camber plates and the list goes on.

Cause I could sell by built/forged 2v and swap it in, would it be possible to keep my trans?

Well now I've got a different idea that just came into play, buddy of mine is in a bad financial way..

He has a brand new stage 3r on3 twin turbo kit, everything's still in the box.. And he wants to sell it cheap just to get some quick cash..

Anyone know anything about these kits?

Also with my como 270 cams will they work or will I need to get turbo cams?

The On3 kits are really good provided he bought it recently. They had issues years ago when they were starting up. Also does it come with fuel, MAF adapter/everything else needed? Generally brand new the On3 kit is $5500-$6k when all is said and done before labor.

You will do fine with the 270s although if you are going to do cams and a turbo for sure I'd sell the Comps and get some Cushman 2.5 turbo cams. Not to mention the Comps are going to be on the ragged edge of PTV clearance with the stock heads.

Honestly depends how much he is selling the kit for, what is included in it and if you are DIY or paying a shop for install and what your budget is.

It will be diy, it's supposed to have everything. I'll double check with him tomorrow.

My pistons are cut tho so idk how bad my ptv would be with them cut but it should be better than stock since there cut, would the valve job I'm giving them at school help any? Or new valves?
