2014 5.0 with 11500 miles on the clock. I have had the roush mufflers since the car had about 500 miles on it. I have noticed within the last few months on a cold start exhaust has a clicking / fluttering sound until the Rpms drop down. Anyone have an idea what it could be. The motor is not clicking or knocking that I can hear. Thanks for any help. I'll try to upload a video when I get a minute.

Mine did (does) the same thing on a cold start. And only when it's a cold start. It never had any leaks or caused any problems for me and I've had them for about two years. My long shot guess is that maybe it's the way the exhaust flows while the mufflers and pipes warm up and the metal "shifts" as it heats up and cleans up the sound. Since I've done long tube headers it doesn't do it anymore or at least I can't hear it.

It's really loud from the outside. I almost put my stock mufflers back on but I'm used to it now and like the sound. Still comfortable inside though. The only time there's any drone is when the rpms drop during a cold start but it goes away as soon as you touch the throttle.

I must be going deaf, I don't hear anything wrong there.

Yeah, when I used to have my roush I was wondering why it made that sound. Until i just decided to check and found out it was the little hole. Put your finger and see that the noise will stop, of course when the car is cold lol
