Also very grippy depending on the brand. Mine is very On/Off....there will be no slipping of the clutch here. Which clutch do you have? We can probably tell you better how your particular model works.
with a really stiff clutch that engages hard you will lose all ability to ride the clutch aka dumping it only .... so on the street it may slow your car down lol.
I have a SPEC Stage 1 on the '90, and it is pretty damn stiff. Like everbody else said, there's really no slipping the clutch with it. The distance between the clutch being fully engaged and being fully disengaged is very small. It's also pretty damn stiff. I'd hate to be stuck in traffic with it.
See, my spec stage 3 is quite light. It is very on/off, but it is a ton lighter than the stock clutch. Granted, the stock 03/04 clutch was very heavy....sucked in traffic.
i know my old lady is the same car 00 V6 and it is very light compared 2 mine n like u said a biotch in traffic. Also like ur sayin either your in or not u almost cant miss it(still raining:disgust: )
yea that sounds about right. ima climb under there tomorrow 1st thang hopefully
