that being said, today i saw a mineral gray cobra. instead of the cobra in the front though, the owner had stuck the svt emblem there. no big deal, little personalization is okay. the car was kinda dirty too, but hey, it happens to all of us. However, there was a HUGE spoiler on the back!!! Blah! it was just awful. i walked away and said "how distasteful" rather loudly and a man getting out of his car gave me a strange look. hahahaha moral of the story, dont put an ugly spoiler on the back of a nice cobra.
really? i did not know that... i always just kinda assumed. still, the svt lettering the guy had didnt actually look that bad. its not what i would have done but... that spoiler. it killed it.
+1 Yah I'm a fan of the stock spoiler as well...especially for the 94-04's. Some mustangs with large rear wheels and a big drop can pull of the spoiler-less look.
The stock spoiler on the S197 is horrible IMO. As soon as I get where I want to be HP wise which will be in a couple months the cosmetic mods will start. 1st thing to be replaced will be the stock spoiler, with a gt500/v6 spoiler. They look so much better.
I agree the spoiler on my GT is not as nice as it could be, I think I like the Roush Spoiler better. I'm looking at getting some stripes painted on the side of my car and that would be a good time to replace it and have the new spoiler painted as well.
The ducktail spoiler off the 03/04 cobras. That is a bitchin spoiler, but pricey as hell. Your best bet is to try and find a used one off a car that someone's selling. New ones from vendors are crazy expensive.
I like big asses........thats what we are talkin bout right?
