Just wondering if anyone has installed the ford racing hot rod cams in their mustang? I'm debating on wether or not to get them. If you have them I would like to hear what you think about them.

Right now I'm just running the tune bama gave me. Yes, I did the installation myself. No spring compressor was used either. If you have one at your disposal specifically for this 3v motor I would reccomend it but it was not a necessity. It took about 4 hours total, with removing my fathers old camaro and putting my car in and setting up some heat. That by itself was an hour and a half job. If you have some mechanical experience honestly it took just as long to remove the valve cover as it did to swap the cam. Just a heads up.

Ok thanks a lot! I had read a lot of people using Bama tune and also brenspeed so I was just curious who you went through. Again thanks for the info.

Not a problem at all man. I may do a 5.4 build soon on a stand and just slowly adding things to it for maybe a swap down the road.

You guys are killing me. Motor building should be left to machinists. IMO. Forced induction is easy and it works. You have drive a forced induction car to appreciate it. 500 hp natural asp is not the same as 500hp under boost. Gotta drive one to believe it.

I'm actually looking at getting a procharger possibly this week. I have drove forced induction and I'll take 500hp any way I can get it! I never planned on being NA forever.
