hey guys i own a 2002 Mustang Gt, black on black on black and was wondering if it was possible to make the hood like a 03-04 Mach 1 shaker hood i love to see the engine move and am kinda ambitious but not sure if its possible.

welcome its possible to do in a couple ways. You can fabricate or find a bracket to mount the hood scoop and use the factory mach 1 hood (best looking option) or classic concept designs used to make a product that installed on the factory hood and used a scoop

just a little info on my car. its a 2002 Ford Mustang Gt that i got off a friend of mine after he got tired of me pestering him about it and wasn't taken care of at all and when i got it its rear bumper had a crack all the way from wheel well to wheel well and two bent rims. it started out with everything stock except the exhaust. its a cat back exhaust and love it loud. it now has aftermarket wheels and a specter cold air intake with a K&N rubber filter. it has some engine decorations. most of the decorations are in the interior most everything is billet or painted silver chrome. over than that its completely stock

Welcome!

Now it sounds like the time to do a supercharger...

welcome :good:

Yah you can definitely put a Mach shaker on your car. A lot of people find shaker systems from wrecked Machs and get a hood and throw it on. If you want the 2 tiered hood and the original scoop than that's what you'd have to do.

As said CDC does make a shaker kit for v6's and GT's, but you have to cut a hole in the stock hood (remove the stock scoop), and put the shaker on. It looks good but isn't as aggressive as the actual Mach 1 style imo.

Ok ya I don't have a lot of resources in salvage yards here in Indiana and I don't see a lot of Machs around my area unfortunately
