Selling Price?

How much should I sell my Mustang for? I'm 18 I'm new to it don't really know much about selling cars. The info on it is listed below, thank you for the help!

2003 V6 Manual Transmission Coupe 2 Door
45,000 Miles
17" Rims/Tires
New Head unit & speakers & Amp
AM Cold Air
Flow Master 40 Exhaust(NOT TRUE DUAL)
Clutch replaced in january with receipt
Tires less than 500 Miles(BRAND NEW)
Power locks/windows
power seat(Driver)
Spoiler
Smoked head lights

My guess is 9-10,000 but I'm wondering what you all would pay? I think I've got a pretty solid car. No problems with the car at all, love it but it's gotta go :(

Honestly, considering its a 6banger I'd say it's a bit high. I'm not sure but always check a KB price guide to help out.

Honesty you get like 6-7 for it maybe but like stated above check kbb

2003SonicBlue 04-13-2012 06:04 AM

KBB says
Trade in Value $6,300
Private Party $9,212
Buyer $10,200

Damn, I'm kinda shocked it was that high. Guess your were right on w/ your numbers.

That sounds about right. My 04 V6 with 110,000 miles is $7,500 private.

Maybe it's your area? Mustang values are high where I live.

That weird that the 04 with 30k more miles is a thousand more.

It says an 04 with 110k is 8515 private, wtf? One model year drop 2k even with 30k less miles on it? And I did the 04 with just the base options!

Re: Selling Price?

go by N.A.D.A. Home Page (comsumer price) and kbb for private party, with the miles it will raise the price but I would not expect 10k out of it (mods dont add value either). If I was in the market I would look to pay 7k perhaps~ or there about

2003SonicBlue 04-13-2012 02:51 PM

I have the original intake

SpectorV 04-13-2012 02:53 PM

Re: Selling Price?

you CAN get more for mods if its something the buyer wants~ but not that much more overall vs what the cost was originally for the mods etc

2003SonicBlue 04-13-2012 02:54 PM

& that NADA site gives me an estimate at $8,037

Las0mbra 04-13-2012 03:03 PM

I got $7,225

Re: Selling Price?

start high you can always go down

Project Pony 04-13-2012 07:40 PM

Mines valued about a grand more than I paid for it, so I'm a happy camper.
