Iphone4s vs samsung galaxy nexus

Witch one would you choose... I currently have the 4s but I hate the small screen and it's not android...but it's not a overall bad phone since this is my 1st iPhone

dreamstang 05-26-2012 04:41 PM

i use an ipad. matter of fact in my house we have 4 ipod touches 2 ipads and an iphone..and i have a sensation with tmobile which is comparable to the samsung. me personally am not a big fan of the ios. my phone is way more capable. i dont know how many times i have to turn off the ipad and open my phone because it doesnt have adobe. but thats just my opinion. i am not trying to dog the iphone in any way. it is a great phone. thats why millions of people have it. but i think the reason its so popular is because its easier to use than an android. but the android will be way more customizable. and that samsung is one of the fastest phones out right now.all in all i dont think you could go wrong either way.

It depends on what you're looking for. Comparing IOS and what is their platform? Gingerbread? Idk. Is like comparing a Mac an a PC. Macs are more "user-friendly" and they make it easier to access things. That being sad they limit your freedom. Especially when it comes to customization and modifying your phone. That's why many people end up jail breaking their Apple devices. So you can jailbreak your Apple, or go with an android device where you won't have to do any jail breaking to be able to do what you want. :). I'm an Apple kinda girl, but I do jailbreak my phone and I have a PC as well.

you do make a good point. apple likes to keep there devices very secure. thats why macs dont get as many viruses. the more you can customize something the more room you have for error.

Exactly. I've never gotten a virus on my Mac, but on my PC that's a whole 'nother story.

I've owned iphones and multiple droids. Always seem to have problems with the droid phones. They are great at first but after a while they start lagging and freezing all the time. Never had that problem with an iphone. My brother swears by them but odd because he's always complaining about something with it..

That is also true. I forgot to mention that. My ex had an android and everytime it froze or glitched (which was fairly often) I would alway said "Shoulda for an iPhone." and he would get so mad hahah.

I've been running androids pretty much flawlessly since they came out. They require more maintenance kinda like a computer. Like don't store 5000 texts, shut them down every once in a while. Etc etc. Simple stuff dealt just frequently overlooked. If this kinda stuff is trouble, definitely go iPhone. As they don't seem to require much maintenance.

I love my iPhone! I'm a former droid owner never again. I hope to be a former PC owner soon. The droid OS requires more attention. Though im collecting state quarters and i lost that app.

I would go iPhone just because Google runs the android system. Since google has updated the privacy policy which really isnt private anymore your phone is tracked and everything you do on the phone is saved in the google servers. For example all your texts, pics, contacts, searches and your location is kept at all times.

My only gripe with Apple is they charge double for componets in their macs. As for phones I have the original Atrix and have had zero problems. Of my friends who have iphones i've yet to see one of them out perform my old android. Its all opinion and some don't mind paying more for less.

Watchawow07SGT 05-27-2012 09:31 AM

iPhone. Droids blow. Theyre pos wit battery life and the OS sux. Wit android u have to go through 5 xs the steps that u would go through wit an iPhone to get something/somewhere.

What you could do is do the return trick. Most of the phone companies will give you a 15 day return policy on phones but they will charge you like a $15-$30 restocking fee. Get the Android try it out and if you don't like it get the iPhone that's the best way to figure out which phone OS you want.
