So last night coming home from work an 02 gt kept trying to race me so i finally gave in at a stop light, we both take off at wot and my v6 was able to keep up with him... i find that a little strange and almost hard to believe.

+1...but that GT couldn't drive not to be mean at all, I raced a few friends in NE GTs in my 99 v6 auto, ones that knew how to drive, ate me alive, ones that did not, I kept up pretty well..even a fully bolted on 99-04 v6 would not take a GT

Split port V6 - 190 at the crank, about 150-160 at the wheels

Ford rates at the crank. I believe its 15-20% loss from crank to wheels so multiply the numbers by .8 to get an estimate of rwhp/rwtq
