2012/14/17 GT?
First of all, I don't know a lot about car mechanics- I am just starting. I've done a lot of research though and I am trying to learn. I am considering buying a Ford Mustang. From the looks, I prefer the 2012 and 2014 Models to the new 2017 ones. However, I want it to be as loud as possible. For that I want to choose the V8 engine (either Gt or boss 302) and install a louder exhaust. Also, I want it to be accelerate fast and have a high top- speed. My question is: What are the differences in sound, acceleration and speed (I've found that the difference between the 2012 and the 2017 gt are about 30 horsepowers, the boss has even more than the 2017 gt, but I do not know how that works in correlation to weight and the other factors in sound, speed and acceleration) between the 2012 gt, boss 302, 2014 gt and 2017 gt. Is the 2012 v8 model close to the 2017 v6? Or are there still major differences? Any other advice, tips or hints?
Thanks in advance:)

If you have the coin 17 GT FTW. Start by test driving at your local Ford store for new and car lots for used. It costs nothing but your time.

the V6 does not sound great when it gets .02 is to figure out how much you want to spend. the V8 is better (all other things considered)

Well, based on your requirements (looks, loudness, acceleration, top speed) I would say you just need to decide which one you think looks better on the exterior and looks/feels more comfortable on the interior. You'll see most who have experience driving both say the s550 drives better and has a nicer interior. You can make any of the options loud and plenty fast so I wouldn't focus too much on those as deciding factors. Decide which body style you like best! For me, hands down it's the 2013/2014. The interior looks a lot nicer with the touchscreen too! Good luck and enjoy the search.

Just adding a little more to thins, first off I agree. You can make the V6 soumd decent, but it still has that V6 sound. That said I upgraded based solely on the fact I just wanted that V8 sound. I had never driven the GT prior and had no sense of the power difference. That being said I had a really dialed in tune, headets, exhaust and intake on my V6. Not much to most people but it really took the car to a whole new level I can't explain, yet my first drive in a 100% stock GT made the smile on my face grow bugger than anything the V6 gave me. I can only imagine what it will feel like once I get a tune installed.
