Spot Light Body Kit

Figure I would do this to get more people to pay attention to different body kits and ground effects.

This week's Spot Light Body Kit is the 1999-2004 Roush Ground Effects Kit with Side Exhaust.

I voted in favor of the kit but I do have a question. What defines "ricer" when you're talking about body kits on Mustangs? I mean, each kit has its own unique features. Opinions vary on each kit. So, no kit can be "ricier" than another because it's all a matter of opinion to begin with. Either you like body kits or you don't. Either body kits in general are rice, or they're not. (and we won't even get into what I think of the term "rice" and its misuses) So, your poll is really a moot point from the get-go. An equally effective poll would be to just say "Do you think body kits are rice or not?" That saves us all from having to make pretty much the same vote every time you post one of these.

I think what you were going for in this thread was to make known all the options we have for body kits, which I respect as a good idea. I think you should remake your poll and exclude references to "rice" and just go with a "do you like it or not" poll.

If I knew how to change that, I would.

Very good point! The term "Rice" or "Ricer" was mainly to express a prejudice against foreign cars and those that drive them, mainly Japanese makes and models. Now it has been thrown around so much that anything and everything is "Ricey."

I say go with what you like, if others don't like the looks of it, they shouldn't stand there and stare at it. Styling is about being or trying to be unique. "To stand out from the rest."

Back to the point of the thread... Nice kit!!
