Okay. Twice now... My car has stalled when I have stopped on a steep hill facing uphill. It just dies. And my "Check Fuel Cap" light came on... But my fuel cap is on there fine. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Pump? Cap? Injectors? I don't know exactly what will make that light trigger... I read about it and it said there's a leak in the EVAP system, which is usually the cap... But would that cause it to stall like that?

That same light keep coming on in my 02... I replaced the fuel cap. I have noticed it shuttering sometimes when I get in it and not wanting to crank the first time. Hm...any ideas? lol

So I was in my car and turning my key back and forth... And whereas I used to be able to hear the pump humming and turning on... I can BARELY hear it at all anymore... And it's more like.. a "click" and then it goes quiet.... Er.. So. Should I start with the pump?

I really want to get a SVT focus pump anyway, so please just say yes.
