It is 100 posts but it seems to take a little while for the job to run that flips you from a newberry to a member. It happened with someone else as well where their status image said new even though they hit 100 posts. Then about 1/2 hour later, it had flipped to member.
The thanks thing is something brent will need to look at. It seems like something must have broken with some changes recently.

You should be able to now. It takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes to update once you hit 100 posts. Its a cron based setup.
As far as thanks, make sure the post isn't more than 30 days old. Also, some forums are disabled. Only tech areas have the Thanks option.
If you are getting some kind of message when you try to thank someone let me know. |
