Power Steering?

Someone told me that if you turn the wheel either left or right all the way and you hit that STOP marker, like when it dosent let you turn anymore, someone said that it ****s something up with the power steering, it like makes it leak or somethin, is that true? I was wtf?haha, can someone clear this up?

Its bad to hold it past full lock, it creates excessive pressure....atleast thats what ive been told

Old wive's tale. There is a pressure release valve built into the power steering pump that will prevent any excessive pressure from building up.
