I'm bored and insomniac (always a dangerous combination); so here's a picture of my latest modification.
And I didn't have to pay a thing.

well, it wasn't so much for the look as for the aerodynamics. The undercar air has a bigger exit vent, thus allowing for more air to flow under, thus reducing undercar airpressure and thusly increasing downforce, thus allowing me to use the word "thus" excessively in a run-on sentence.

clean your bumper, and it will look better if you smooth out the edges

why are your tips sticking out that far... is it due to the "modification" or do you actually like tacky tips that stick out 3 feet from the back of the bumper?

as there seems to be some confusion, here's how to get this mod:
have your mustang stationary
Have someone in a cavalier run into the back of your mustang at 25-30 mph
voila! you have a donkeymod.

why wouldn't you use a hack saw to cut that off?... sorry, but that part that's missing looks tacky as SH!T.... otherwise, sure, it looks ok ... even though I don't see why you would do that, factory looks just fine

You could, but my philosophy is not to use a peashooter when an ICBM will do.
I'm starting to wish I had pictures to show how far the 'modding' went on the cavalier

a camaro performed a similar mod to me, except he installed an aerodynamic scoop in the front, made and opening for battery/window washer ventilation, and moved the battery closer to the power steering pump for better weight distrubution.

that's a good idea! An overheated battery is dangerous...
And Mr. Beaner, I was rear-ended. A girl in a cavalier averted her attention at a bad time and ran into me. I was inconvenienced, she went to the hospital; nothing truly serious, I think. She was more afraid of her parents' reaction than her physical status. The car goes to the shop in a couple weeks for repairs.
The cavalier had both airbags deployed, the front was smashed in, the radiator punctured, the hood crushed, the windshield cracked (unsure if it was caused by the accident).

sorry, the Cavalier thing, yeah, wow. That sucks. It didn't look that bad really... for an accident. Just that one little part looked bad. Kinda thought you were serious.
