Knocking sound?

It's weird and it only started doing this recently, if im at a stop light, and it turns green and I give it a little gas, when first gear gets to about 1200 rpms I can hear like a faint knocking/clicking sound then when it goes about 1500 rpms I dont hear it anymore, atleast thats what I think unless I cant hear it cause of my engine, and if I put it in neutral and rev it a little to about 1200 rpms the same RPMS I hear the knocking/clicking, then I dont hear it at all, only when its in drive, can anyone possibly help me out? cause im guessing its coming from the transmission or something simular to it since it only makes the knocking noise while in gear.

It is extremely hard to diagnose a knocking sound from a description or even just a video or sound clip. What mods do you have and does the engine kind of die when it does this? Like as far a losing power. I know my old car had a problem with missing, and it made a knocking sound, but you could sure as heck tell it was losing power when it did it.

nah, no power loss, no dieing of any kind, car runs fine, just a little knocking noise

Hm... could be whole list of things. Anything from bearings to your transmission going out...

So you really wouldent know like, out of a list of things what it most likely could be? cause it sucks cause I dont really know whats wrong, it could be just a little bearing thats getting worn out or it just could be my entire transmission going so yea. The only mod I have is exhaust, im going to get intake put on real soon though.
