Hey out there! I was wondering what rear end comes in the new v6 05's? Is it a 7.5, 8.8 or is it irs? Thanks for your help. Thinkin about purchasing one wrecked in a couple years and dropping my friends 5.4 stroked to 6.0 motor in it.

Right, that's for both the auto and the manual on the V6. The GT has a 3.55 in it's manual and a 3.31 in it's 5-speed auto.

I'm contemplating 'bout trading my '04 for the '05 V6. I got too impatient to buy a Mustang and settled for the '04 just to say I have a Mustang, but I'm kicking myself in the ass for not waiting. It's the best V6 yet, but they gotta put a t-lok option and 3.73's

IMO I like the body styles of the 99+ rather than the 05's. They just dont seem right, and why didnt they make a new looking model rather than bringing back something from the past?

Ya the new one is sweet, accept for the back & the higher compression ratio.

As well as the engine is taking to mods, you won't need a blower to go fast. I think people are gonna be breaking 10/11 second runs all motor.
