Question about a switch

I'm lookin for new wheels for my 04 v6 mustang, and my buddy asked me if i wanted to buy his 01 Cobra wheels. Will these fit on my mustang properly with no trouble?

his wheels have tires on them he's selling me them as a package. But one problem is they have the center caps but not the lug nuts, will my lug nuts from my rims fit for these ones?

You have the open end lug nuts from the factory. His wheels show the lug nuts so I'd recommend picking up a set of polished or chrome lug nuts, you can pick these up at any parts store.

Size you are wanting is: 1/2" - 20

I was pretty confused first time I started looking for new lug nuts in a store and they were no help, just go to the local parts store and pick out a set for 20 bucks with locking nuts and call it done man.

I recommend the Gorilla brand and their lug wrench, but stay away from spline drives, they do nothing for security. The Gorilla socket is AMAZINGLY thin walled so you won't knick your wheels when bolting them on or taking them off, and it's very strong. I need a new one since mine somehow vanished.

To be honest none of them really do anything for security. If they want the wheels they will take them. It's like locking the car doors...they can still get right in but it takes a little more effort.
