Well, I got my new graphics card (PNY 6800nu) a fews days ago and I decided to take advantage of the cold and see how fast i could make my computer fly.
This new graphics card needed more power then I expected. My Vantec Tornado fans were changeing their speeds. I figured this to be a power problem and added a extra 350w powersupply for my graphics card. With a 480w powersupply for the rest.
The numbers speak for themselves.. pretty good for a nu

yea the problem was...
those highpowered tornados were overpowering my antec 480w's wimpy fan so it was getting litterly no airflow
i fixed that now taking the covering off and the bottem fan. and switching the other fan around so the tornado sucks air out of the powersupply
.... if that makes sence

Gk22CoE pwned us all at our past lan parties (not that he didn't have any competition but)...I can't imagine how it will be now that he put a real graphics card in it rather than using my geforce4 piece...

2400 35w
For those that care... What I have so far for my new computer
Thats what I have now the suff I bought wil lbe here the 30th then I got to save up for the Patriot Ram and Video card then the lcd
I need the LCD for space and the fact that I will be working on this site from that computer and need something easy on the eyes to work with.
17" LCD with 16ms or lower response time will do the trick and be good enough for my gaming needs

consumes less power which creates less heats which allows me to overclock higher with less heat being created.
I have seen people with 2.5ghz on air.. and that heatsink I bought = amazing... so no telling where I will be. I am thinking about modding the motherboard so I can get a higher vcore.... but I have never soldered before and dont want to mess a 90 dollar mb up.
Overall when its done it will keep me happy for a very long time.

o yea, i forgot to mention that i unlocked the extra vertex pipe line but not the 4 extra pixel pipelines (artifacts).
the gt has 16 pixel pipes and 6 vertex pipes
the nu has 12 pixel pipes and 5 vertex pipes stock
that would have been a large boost if i were able to unlock them

I was talking about the video card mainly
I dont know crap about Intel Motherboards.
Just get the reg hack for coolbits and start increasing it till you get artifacts.
Start with the GPU and find your highest clock.
Then increase your memory till you find the highest clock
Not hard at all.
I finally broke 10k on my 6800NU with crappy ram
Cant wait to get my ram in and try it... looking for 11K then i am going for icnreasing the gpu voltage via a bios flash... gotta get me a pci card first though
