Just as the title states, doesn't matter what year or what type, cobra, saleen, v6, gt or whatever else. Who has the fastest 1/4 mile time. Who has the fastest top speed? What do they have done? And just for further enjoyment, post pics if you can. Feel free also to post what you run in the 1/4 or your top speed!

Mustang?
cause some of us got other rides that haul butt.
BTW, 120 mph top speed isn't fast enough. I got an ex-cop car that'll top that no sweat.

I went a 155 mph on the way to Vegas with my 3:73's. That was impressive. I wonder what I could of gone it up to if I had my stock gears. I will get deep into the 11's when I get my intercooled vortech.

Smurfin is prob the fastest.

EVAN!!!! (03redfirecobra) If he still posts...he ran an 11.xx at 121mph, i think...now he has a ported blower, 2.75 pulley, and 28" MT slicks, i haven't seen an updated run yet
so id say Evan, or like Spector said Pete

I think my top speed is around the 90mph mark. damn 4cyl.
My car is limited at 155mph stock. I need to take it to the track, but everything I have seen from others with the same mods running 11.6s all day long.

Dyno recorded at 169 mph and climbing with a lot less mods and slower than she is now, who cares about 1/4 mile times anyhow, no 1/4 strip around here, I don't race, and I wouldn't risk my IRS if I did. I don't drive in a straight line for 1/4 mile, the roads here got lots of curves in them.

Now this guy has the idea, haha, 169 tops me by 1 m.p.h.....i lose! Fishers stang is right, 120 is a day in the park for some cars. I drove to Sacramento from my house at 140 for 4 hours and change. That was until I got my ticket Now I put in some 3.91 and my top speed is way way down...And to go with ponycarman, go ahead and list your non mustang cars. I don't have a mustang either. Technically I won kris's and I have access to my dads 98 gt, but I don't have one in my name, haha. The tracks up here suck so I don't know what my dad runs, anyone wanna take a guess for me? 98gt carbon fiber hood, intake, exhaust, h pipe, ignition, pullies, 5 speed. Definitely not the fastest one here but it's not bad either.

I got a real good deal on that swap, including the new bushings and a brake line I had to replace and a night in a motel in MD, just a bit over 300. (I only had to pay half the labor for the swap.) Guy up there I found on the net had an 03 Cobra and wanted to switch to a GT type rear end because he likes to drag race, so I came out real good, that is the best way to do an IRS swap. If you have to buy one and have it installed it would run you in the range of 2000 dollars I imagine.

i think i have the slowest car on here . i think somethings wrong with my car, cause everytime i hit the gas theres this big whooshing vaccuum cleaner liek sound, and when i let off the gas theres this high pitched whip like sound. i think i might have something stuck between my exhaust manifold and downpipe

I will have nearly the same mods as him all installed within the next week or so. The predator is in the mail so I will finally be able to install the 2.76" pulley. The stingers are going on this weekend. The Amazon Racing CAI is on. All that will be left is the tune. I will have the stock diablo tune so I probably shouldn't get into boost until amazon racing sends me my custom tune. Then, I will be at nearly the same HP numbers as 03. It certainly won't hurt that I am only 56' above sea level either...lots of dense air here. I won't however have the fast tracks times like him. I suck at launching this beast. I will probably match his trap speads, but will be way off on the ET. Which is fine with me because I don't go to the track much really. I just like punking those that think it is just a lowly mustang on the street.
