I have a 00 V6 and plan on getting duals. I am leaning toward Flowmaster 50's Series, but am curious as to how they sound. Does anyone know/recommend this? Thanks!

Flowmaster 50's sound good on a V6 as well. They are a little quieter than the 40's. If you want louder get a lower number, if you want quieter, get a higher number. So 60 sereies are the quietest and 30's are the loudest. I would opt for the 40's but that's just my opinion.

yea dont be suprised when they sound rather horrid uptop..... just part of it, if you want an all around modest sound get oem gt mufflers they will keep it low toned.

I just got my takeoffs in today....
I purchased the stainless steel MAC Flowpaths last week....They should be in this week.
I'm taking a guess that my exhaust will sound pretty badass at both high and low rpms.
Any opinions?

Shoot my 2002 6 sound alot better with the X-pipe and Spintech pro's than my old set up of a H pipe and flow 40's with turndowns.

Flowmasters do sound the best. There was this guy named maudavausta or something like that on the mustang forums site, he had the magnaflows on his mustang he wanted to sell them & get flows. My other buddy has a v8 auto with the bassani without cats & bassani catback. Sounds horrible. maybe because it is an auto I don't know.

Well obviously it isn't going to sound anything like an 8...I'm not stupid.
I'm talking in terms of the best sound you could get out of a v6 with that setup. I heard that the Flowpaths gave you the best uptop and down low sound.
