Ya I emailed him & he wants to go. The reason he doesnt post here anymore is b/c he doesn't like the admins. He told me if I wanted to know why he would tell me. I didn't ask or really care, but he said he wants to go racing. So when is a good day/date to go racing?

go racing where? When I was at my dads house earlier today he said he wants to go to l.a.c.r. this friday. I doubt we could get many people to go by then though. |

I want to go Friday but I need my Drag radials. I am also getting my custom predator tune in a month. How about we plan on March 25 (friday) That way we give everyone a 2 month notice & by then I will have my new drags & custom tune. What do ya think?

You can go ahead and do that if it falls on a wednesday or a friday, but in two months I'm sure everyone (possibly even me) will forget. If it's not on a wednesday or friday we can't go to lacr. |

It's all good. I am just lettin ya know when I will be ready. I would love to go with your dad on Friday or sooner than March 25th (friday) but I am running on really bald drag radials right now. (especially the right one) Unless your dad has some drags I can use, then I can go.  I do have street tires in storage. But I promised myself, I would never go to the track on street tires again. What does your dad run at lacr?

we dont' know cause last time he went he was near stock, since then you can look at my sig. He gets like 15.6 which is what my car gets, but then we've both added mods so who knows what we're getting now. My dad also has more mods to install like heads and cams, but he wants to run and see what he gets now. |

Wow, he is gonna get ported heads? like patriot performance? And cams? I wonder if I got cams, if I would pass smog? Cali sux for that. Do you live near victorville? I lived in Apple Valley for a year & half. All I did was ride dirt bikes.

Yes, that is exactly the area I live in. Hesperia, C.A. I could get to victorville in may 3 and 1/2 minutes. Everyone used to ride dirtbikes but for some reason they passed a law now that you can't do it unless you have some insane amount of land. From what I hear a bunch of people moved up from the cities "down the hill" and complained about it. A lot of people moved up here so they could ride, now we're getting overtaken by (blasphemy not allowed on mustangevolution.com) |

So what about your dad's car? What heads/cams? We used to ride everyday out there. There was this concrete bowl that we would jump in & out of. It was soo much fun. They were builing houses where we used to ride & we were so mad. They had these tractors out there. My brother & I snuck out one night when I was 15 and we grabbed this like six foot tumble weed & threw in in the bulldozer. They had sticks for marked areas with orange flags on them. My brother found a jar & stuck the stake in it & opened up a gas tank from a truck & stuck the stake in there & pulled up a jar full of gas. We threw it all over the tumble weed & lit in on fire & ran. We were soooo stupid. The flames were like 50 feet high. We ran home & were sooo scared. The next day some guy was waliking around the neighborhood going from door to door giving a reward to anybody that had any information. We were scared. I am just glad we didnt put the stake in the gas tank or we would of blown up the truck. We were just mad they were building houses where we rode. I know, I know so stupid. So what cams/heads is your dad getting?

My dad already has the heads just sitting in his dining room and he has some other stuff too, I can't recall what kind they are but I'll take pictures and ask him when they're going in and what kind they are. He has lots of mods that just sit around, haha. So do I. I have a turbo sitting in my garage....just sitting there. I kinda wanna save it for a corvette, but that may take too long. It's slightly too big for my car though.
 :lmao at your story. Everyone rides bikes still in those full pipes that are just sitting around and concrete bowls. We still have good tracks up here too, but it just sucks you can't ride around whenever/wherever you want. Cops are taking people's bikes away if they ride in Honda valley...sucks. |
