So i had two credit cards all thru college and last night I called to up the limits and lower the intrest rates. Now I'm just about to be 23 and so I was not expecting a very low intrest rate but one c/c company dropped my rates to 10% on all purchases (not for 6mo or anything... permanent) andthe other 12.24%
Oh and my credit limits have tripled and they were fairly high limits already.
new turbo what?

Yeah good credit does rock Ive had a credit card since I was 16. Now I have 5 cards all with a limit over 10gs all in the line of 12-14% intrest. Instant approval on loans and all that good stuff.
Seen to many people get carried away wit their cards though. They can be the death of some people

yeah, I know what you mean. I am all about good credit and have been building my credit since I got my 2 cards at 18. I don't need anymore as of right now if they keep bumping my limts. I think when I bought my car back in March, I looked at my beacon score and it was in the low to mid 700s. Not bad for someone who never had anything over $5k on his credit at that time. It should be nearing 800 in a year or so

I'm mid to upper 700s I am paying down my only credit card right now seeing that I used it to buy my blower and my winter beater! lol
Key is to not miss payments. I pay online about twice a month just to make sure I'm not late lol
