I have a mac cai and i am gonna buy the 65mm twin throttle body and the C&L throttle body chromed aluminum inlet pipe, and i see theres mass air kits for my car too, but im not sure if i can use with this set-up, i imagine i can but the kits like 300 bucks so i dont know what all it entails. Also what other mods under the hood can i do, im gonna get the steeda pullies, i dont know whats left, maybe a timing adjuster but i thought those were more for s/c engines. I will have a SC this year, but it probably wont be for 6 months. Is an ignition system a decent source of HP? Thanks for the input. Oh also i saw this oil thing, windtray or something, its supposed to add a couple horses, anyone know of this thing?

an ignition system wont really add power. if you are gonna super charge dont waste your money on the pulies they will be useless when your blown.

There are a million mods to get, how about getting a better lsd, especially once the supercharger goes on. If not you can always get cams, lightweight flywheel (wait, you have an auto don't you?), headers, chip/tuning, brakes definitely especially with a supercharger (even though that's not power adder, it's a good mod), if you are an auto a manual swap would be a good mod, haha. I don't know how people on this board are but manuals are awesome! You'll have more fun with your car especially when you learn how to "heel toe" and stuff....that is unless you're only into drag racing but even then you can get a couple extra tenths with a manual.

I absolutely love manuals...would much rather have one instead of my auto...but I bought the auto because of the deal I got on it.

The IRS is built for road racing and track racing, not drag racing. It is great for cornering but leads to alot of wheel hop and loss of traction and launch speed in drag racing if you're pushing alot of power. That is why several 03-04 cobra owners have switched to a solid rear end in order to make up for this loss in traction for drag racing purposes. SVT built the Cobra for an overall good car, but more for road racing than drag racing.

Wow, thanks I didn't know that. I'm not much of a drag racer anyway and probably would chose one car over another based on the irs issue but it's good to know in case I ever to have a drag car...which I should very soon. Why now wouldn't it hold slicks?

I love my IRS, but then I could care less bout drag racing either. You could put wheels on about anything and a big engine and drag race it. It takes a great car to handle well on the streets and hiways.

If you have'nt done the CAI yet - don't do the metal ones -
do a plastic one like Tunable Inductions (DeMolet). Cobras love em.
The metal ones get too hot.
Your Mass Air will be OK for the time being.
Do a larger Throttle Body.
Do pulleys (Steeda) until you SC. Then sell em.
Do the right Plugs for your set-up.
Do Gears (3.73 or 3.90) that way you get more to the wheels. But will work fine later when you SC. That's the biggest improvement you can do until Supercharging.
Your gonna have a real nice ride.

wheel hop + lots of power + sticky tires = thrashed rear end!

If you're seriously consider a supercharger, I'd hold off on pullies. Personally, my next mod would be gears if you don't already have them and a short throw shifter.

my friend had horrid wheel hop, spent tons of money on motor work and NOT a time on suspension... i told him but he told me I was wrong and suspension was stupid to put money in to... this is why he couldnt cut better than 2.1 60s on huge ass slicks....
