8 Months 20 Days since my last post, so long ago that I couldn't even hook up to my last thread (which by the way was titled 08 Bullitt questions).
After about a year and a half of overanalyzing this decision, today I finally bit the Bullitt...2009 Highland Green #6332.
It's sitting down in my garage right now, that luscious dark green paint glowing...
I should have bought it a year ago.

About an hour after getting it home it started raining, of course tomorrow is calling for rain too, but hopefully I can take some pics Wednesday.
Thanks for the re-welcome.

Is it going to be your weekend toy, or your daily driver?

Thanks to all for the kind words, the Bullitt is going to be my weekend toy.
I woke up at 3:30 this morning and thought about going down to the garage just to "check on it" if you know what I mean.

Congratulations! Miles of smiles, man.
I wanted one-waited too long. The remaining `08s had a heckuva lot of incentive $ attached by Ford-and made the price very desirable. I finally convinced my wife-that I "needed" a new Mustang, and we drove 51/2 hours to look at/drive the 2008 Bullitt. After we returned from the test drive-and we both started going over it with a 'fine tooth' comb-I discovered a ripple in the driver side door-right over the styling crease-they sure didn't say anything about that, before they let me drive all that way... It was either damaged in transit, at the end of the production line/who knows? I had to walk away from the deal. I was able to take delivery on my `08 Vapor GT, though-and it was ordered with the spoiler delete, interior upgrade, HIDs, Shaker 1000-so I was still pretty glad to get a new car-at least a close facsimile to the look of the Bullitt.

I would love to post a pic if I can figure out how, I'm not too computer savy.
Well here goes, I'll try the insert image link...
Well that did not work, it is asking for an URL and all I want to do is get a Bullitt picture that I have taken myself off my own computer.
Anyone know how this is done or if it is possible?
I thought it would work kind of like the way the avatar did.

Well I put it in my signature picture but it is not showing up, perhaps a person has to be a supporting member.

No, you do not have to be a supporting member. If the picture is too large it will not display.

Hallelujah! It was under file attachments and I downsized the pic thru Picasa, it's a miracle, it's a Christmas day miracle!

I absolutely love it. No badges, no emblems, no shiny rims screaming HERE I AM! And the color.... gorgeous, just gorgeous! If you get a chance can u give me the color code off the door tag? I want that color.
Grats on the nice ride.

@ Otlaw80
The color code is PX and thanks for the thumbs up. Not everybody is into Bullitts but that's OK, it would be boring if everybody thought alike.
I bet that convertible of yours would be a blast, especially with the picture perfect last couple of days that I have had around here.
Take care.

Thanx for the code. Unfortunately its been crappy here the last few days. But today was beautiful out so at lunch i said to hell with eating and just put the top down and found some country roads. My 1 hour lunch break turned into 1 1/2 hours, oops
